October 2006
Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center representatives John Augustine, Director, Robert Custer, Gene Vacoski, Chris Wachs and Mark Thomas attended Septembers Board of Directors meeting. Mr. Augustine reported a 22percent increase in students this year bringing the total students to 410 students this year at the Vo-tech.
As part of their Construction trades Program the school wants to build a double wide home to be sent to New Orleans for hurricane relief. This project would be used as educational opportunity for the students. Our Board of Directors would like to see our association help with this project. The board has asked the school to provide a detail of its specific project needs. Upon receipt we will share the needs with you, our members. At that time hopefully our membership will step up and help showing what a great group of members make up our organization.
